Hadith 4082

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهِبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ الْبِكْرَ تَسْتَحِي ؟ فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " رِضَاهَا صَمْتُهَا " .
It is narrated about Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that she submitted to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): A virgin girl feels shy. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Her consent is her silence.
