Hadith 4041

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " انْظُرْ إِلَيْهَا فَإِنَّ فِي أَعْيُنِ الأَنْصَارِ شَيْئًا " يَعْنِي صَغَرًا .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man intended to marry a woman from among the Ansar, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Look at this woman, for there is something in the eyes of the Ansar." (The narrator says) that is, their eyes are small.
