Hadith 4014

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً مُقَلَّدَةً ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ارْكَبْهَا " ، قَالَ : بَدَنَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " ارْكَبْهَا وَيْلَكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man was taking his sacrificial camel along with him, and there were garlands around its neck. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Ride on it. He replied: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! This is a sacrificial animal. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May you be ruined, ride on it.
