أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ : إِنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ يُخْبِرُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُجَّاجًا حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا سَرِفَ ، فَحِضْتُ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَنَا أَبْكِي ، فَقَالَ : " مَا لَكِ ؟ " ، فَقُلْتُ : لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أَحُجَّ الْعَامَ ، قَالَ : " مَا لَكِ ؟ " ، قُلْتُ : حِضْتُ ، قَالَ : " هَذَا شَيْءٌ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ ، فَاصْنَعِي كَمَا يَصْنَعُ الْحَاجُ غَيْرَ أَنْ لا تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ " ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اجْعَلُوهَا عَمْرَةً " ، فَفَعَلُوا ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَسُقْ هَدْيًا حَلَّ ، وَسَاقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ ، وَعُمَرُ ، وَنَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْيَسَارِ ، فَلَمْ يَحِلُّوا ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ ، ذَبَحَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نِسَائِهِ الْبَقَرَ ، وَطَهُرْتُ ، فَطُفْتُ بِالْبَيْتِ ، وَسَعَيْتُ ، ثُمَّ رَجَعْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِنًى ، فَلَمَّا نَفَرْنَا أَرْسَلَنِي مَعَ أَخِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ مِنَ الْمُحَصَّبِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَرْدِفْ أُخْتَكَ ، فَأَعْمِرْهَا مِنَ التَّنْعِيمِ " ، فَأَرْدَفَنِي ، فَأَهْلَلْتُ مِنَ التَّنْعِيمِ فَطُفْتُ بِالْبَيْتِ ، ثُمَّ رَجَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَصَدَرَنَا .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: We set out with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to perform Hajj. When we reached the place of "Sarif," I began menstruating. The Prophet (peace be upon him) came to me and I was crying. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked: What has happened to you? I replied: Alas, I will not be able to perform Hajj this year. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked: What has happened to you? I replied: I have started menstruating. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: This is something Allah has ordained for the daughters of Adam. Do what the pilgrims do, except do not perform the Tawaf of the House (Ka'bah). (Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, narrates:) When we reached Makkah, the Prophet (peace be upon him) instructed: You all should convert it into Umrah. So the people did so; whoever had not brought a sacrificial animal with him, he ended his Ihram. But the Prophet (peace be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and some affluent companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) who had brought sacrificial animals with them, did not end their Ihram. When the day of sacrifice came, the Prophet (peace be upon him) sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives. When I became pure, I performed the Tawaf of the House and also performed Sa'i (between Safa and Marwah). Then I returned to Mina and presented myself before the Prophet (peace be upon him). When we were about to depart (towards Madinah), the Prophet (peace be upon him) sent me from "Muhassab" with my brother Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Seat your sister behind you and let her perform Umrah from "Taneem." He seated me behind him, I entered into Ihram for Umrah from "Taneem," I performed the Tawaf of the House, then I returned and presented myself before the Prophet (peace be upon him), and then we departed (towards Madinah).
