Hadith 3986

أَخْبَرَنَا شَبَابُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ بِوَاسِطٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِهِ زَمِنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ ، فَقَالَ : " قَدْ آذَاكَ هَوَامُّ رَأْسِكَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " احْلِقْ ، ثُمَّ اذْبَحْ شَاةً نُسُكًا ، أَوْ صُمْ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ، أَوِ اطْعِمْ ثَلاثَةَ آصُعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ عَلَى سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that on the occasion of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by him. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Are the lice on your head troubling you?" He replied: "Yes." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then shave your head and either offer a goat in sacrifice, or fast for three days, or feed six needy people with three sa’ of dates."
