Hadith 398

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ دَرَّاجًا ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَيَذْكُرَنَّ اللَّهُ قَوْمًا فِي الدُّنْيَا ، عَلَى الْفُرُشِ الْمُمَهَّدَةِ ، يُدْخِلُهُمُ الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Allah Almighty will surely mention in this world a people who will be upon adorned beds, and He will surely admit them to elevated ranks."
