Hadith 3908

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَاتَ بِذِي طُوًى حَتَّى صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ ، وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُهُ ، وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ مِنْ كَدَاءِ الثَّنِيَّةِ الْعُلْيَا الَّتِي بِالْبَطْحَاءِ ، وَخَرَجَ مِنْ ثَنِيَّةِ السُّفْلَى " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) spent the night at Dhi Tuwa, then he performed the morning prayer and after that entered Makkah. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to do the same. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah from the upper pass of Kada, which is in Batha, and (when returning) he departed from the lower pass.
