Hadith 3897

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَحْوَلِ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّاسُ يَنْفِرُونَ مِنْ كُلِّ وَجْهٍ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَنْفِرَنَّ أَحَدٌ حَتَّى يَكُونَ آخِرَ عَهْدِهِ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Previously, people used to depart from any direction. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: No person should depart until he performs the Tawaf of the Ka'bah as the last act.
