Hadith 3844

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ يَوْمَ الأَحْزَابِ : " اللَّهُمَّ مُنْزِلَ الْكِتَابِ ، سَرِيعَ الْحِسَابِ اهْزِمْهُمْ وَزَلْزِلْهُمْ " ، يَعْنِي الأَحْزَابَ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abu Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicating on the day of the Battle of Ahzab: "O Allah! O Revealer of the Book, O Swift in reckoning, defeat these people and shake them (the narrator says) meaning (the enemy armies)."
