Hadith 3832

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الأَحْوَلُ ، أَنَّ طَاوُسًا ، أَخْبَرَنَا ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ بِإِنْسَانٍ قَدْ رَبَطَ يَدَهُ بِإِنْسَانٍ آخَرَ بِسَيْرٍ ، أَوْ بِخَيْطٍ ، أَوْ شَيْءٍ غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ ، فَقَطَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَ قَالَ : قَدَّهُ بِيَدِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Once, while the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing Tawaf of the Ka'bah, he passed by a person who had tied his hand with a rope and given the other end (of the rope) into another person's hand, or perhaps it was something else. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) cut it and said: You (hold his hand and take him along).
