أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مِقْدَامٍ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجْنَا مُوَافِينَ لِهِلالِ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُهِلَّ بِحَجٍّ فَلْيُهِلَّ ، وَمَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُهِلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَلْيُهِلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ " ، قَالَتْ : فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجٍّ ، وَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ ، قَالَ : فَكُنْتُ أَنَا مِمَّنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ ، حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِسَرِفَ ذَكَرْتُ الْمَحِيضَةَ ، دَخَلُ عَلَيَّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَنَا أَبْكِي ، فَقُلْتُ : وَدِدْتُ أَنِّي لَمْ أَخْرُجِ الْعَامَ ، وَذَكَرَتْ مَحِيضَتَهَا ، قَالَتْ : فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " انْقُضِي رَأْسَكِ ، وَامْتَشِطِي ، وَافْعَلِي مَا يَفْعَلُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ فِي حَجِّهِمْ " ، قَالَتْ : فَأَطَعْتُ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ، فَلَمَّا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةَ الصَّدْرِ ، أَمَرَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، فَأَخْرَجَهَا إِلَى التَّنْعِيمِ ، قَالَتْ : فَأَهْلَلْتُ مِنْهُ بِعُمْرَةٍ .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: We set out a few days before the sighting of the moon of Dhu al-Hijjah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Whoever intends to enter into the state of Ihram for Hajj should do so, and whoever intends to enter into the state of Ihram for Umrah should do so. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Some of us entered into the state of Ihram for Hajj and some for Umrah. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I was among those who entered into the state of Ihram for Umrah. When we reached the place called "Sarif," I began menstruating. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to me, and I was crying. I said: I wished that I had not come this year. Then Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) mentioned her menstruation. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Untie your hair and comb it, and do all the things that a pilgrim does during Hajj. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I obeyed Allah and His Messenger. When the night of return came, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered Sayyidina Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to take Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to Tan'eem. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I entered into the state of Ihram for Umrah from there.
