Hadith 3781

فَقُلْتُ حَدَّثَنَا فَقُلْتُ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " السَّرَاوِيلُ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ الإِزَارَ ، وَالْخُفَّانِ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ النَّعْلَيْنِ " .
So I said: Amr bin Dinar narrated from Jabir bin Zaid, from Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "A person who does not have an izar (waist-wrapper) may wear trousers, and a person who does not have shoes may wear leather socks."
