باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر البيان بأن الله جل وعلا قد يجازي المؤمن على حسناته في الدنيا كما يجازي على سيئاته فيهاChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Allah may reward a believer for good deeds in this world as He does for bad deeds.
Hadith 377

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَظْلِمُ الْمُؤْمِنَ حَسَنَةً يُثَابُ عَلَيْهَا الرِّزْقَ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، وَيُجْزَى بِهَا فِي الآخِرَةِ ، فَأَمَّا الْكَافِرُ ، فَيَطْعَمُ بِحَسَنَاتِهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، فَإِذَا أَفْضَى إِلَى الآخِرَةِ ، لَمْ تَكُنْ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ يُعْطَى بِهَا خَيْرًا " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, Allah Almighty does not wrong any believer regarding goodness; He grants him provision in this world and will reward him for that goodness in the Hereafter. As for the disbeliever, he consumes the fruit of his good deeds in this world, and when he goes to the Hereafter, he will have no goodness left for which he may be given any reward."
