Hadith 3762

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ ، سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ ، يَقُولُ : " بَيْدَاؤُكُمْ هَذِهِ الَّتِي تَكْذِبُونَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهَا ! مَا أَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلا مِنْ عِنْدِ الْمَسْجِدِ " ، يَعْنِي مَسْجِدَ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ .
Salim bin Abdullah narrates: He heard his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) saying: This plain (Baidah) is the place about which you people attribute something incorrect to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the Talbiyah near the mosque (meaning) the mosque of Dhul-Hulaifah.
