Hadith 3753

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَئِنْ عِشْتُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهِ لأُخْرِجَنَّ الْيَهُودَ ، وَالنَّصَارَى مِنْ جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ ، حَتَّى لا يَبْقَى فِيهَا إِلا مُسْلِمٌ " .
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "If Allah wills and I remain alive, I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula, until only Muslims remain in it."
