Hadith 3745

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي مِكْيَالِهِمْ ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي صَاعِهِمْ وَمُدِّهِمْ " ، يَعْنِي أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "O Allah! Bless the measuring instruments of these people. Bless their Sa’ and their Mudd." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) meant the people of Madinah.
