أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الزِّيَادِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنِّي كُنْتُ أُرِيتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ ، ثُمَّ نُسِّيتُهَا ، وَهِيَ فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ ، وَهِيَ طَلْقَةٌ بَلْجَةٌ لا حَارَّةٌ وَلا بَارِدَةٌ ، كَأَنَّ فِيهَا قَمَرًا يَفْضَحُ كَوَاكِبَهَا ، لا يَخْرُجُ شَيْطَانُهَا حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ فَجْرُهَا " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Night of Qadr was shown to me, then it was made to be forgotten by me. It is in the last ten nights. It is a pleasant and moderate night, neither very hot nor very cold, and during it the moon makes the stars feel ashamed. Its devil does not come out until its true dawn appears (that is, until the whole night passes)."
