Hadith 3603

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفِيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْفَرَّاءُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ ، وَيَوْمُ النَّحْرِ ، وَأَيَّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ هُنَّ عِيدُنَا أَهْلَ الإِسْلامِ ، هُنَّ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ " .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "The Day of Arafah, the Day of Sacrifice, and the Days of Tashreeq—these are our, the people of Islam's, Eid. These are days of eating and drinking."
