أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيَّامُ مِنًى أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : قَوْلُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيَّامُ مِنًى أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ " ، لَفْظَةُ إِخْبَارٍ عَنِ اسْتِعْمَالِ هَذَا الْفِعْلِ مُرَادُهَا الزَّجْرُ عَنْ ضِدِّهِ ، وَهُوَ صَوْمُ أَيَّامِ مِنًى ، فَقَيَّدَ بِالزَّجْرِ عَنْ صَوْمِ هَذِهِ الأَيَّامِ بِلَفْظِ الأَمْرِ بِالأَكْلِ وَالشُّرْبِ فِيهِمَا .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The days of Mina are days of eating and drinking." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:): The statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "The days of Mina are days of eating and drinking," literally informs about performing this action, but what is meant is the prohibition of its opposite, and that opposite is fasting on the specific days of Mina. So here, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has explained the prohibition of fasting on these days by mentioning the command to eat and drink during these days.
