Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Once, Hawla bint Tuwait passed by Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), while the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was present with Lady Aisha. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said, "This is Hawla bint Tuwait; she does not sleep at night, rather she keeps performing voluntary prayers." So the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "She does not sleep at night? You should do only as much as you are able to. By Allah! The grace of Allah does not cease from you until you become weary."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah does not tire until you tire," these are words of common parlance used by people to convey the meaning to the listener, and that meaning can only be conveyed through these words.
