Hadith 351

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمَذَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَعْنَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ هَذَا الدِّينَ يُسْرٌ وَلَنْ يُشَادَّ الدِّينَ أَحَدٌ إِلا غَلَبَهُ ، فَسَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالْغَدْوَةِ وَالرَّوَاحِ وَشَيْءٍ مِنَ الدُّلْجَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "This religion is easy, and whoever tries to be strict in it, this religion will overpower him. So remain steadfast, adopt moderation, and receive glad tidings, and seek help (in practicing) by (worshipping) in the morning, evening, and some part of the night."
