Hadith 3449

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الطَّائِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "A month (sometimes) consists of twenty-nine (29) days."
