أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْكَلاعِيُّ الرَّاهِبُ ، بِحِمْصَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ أَنْفَقَ زَوْجَيْنِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ مِنَ الأَشِيَاءِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، دُعِيَ مِنْ أَبُوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ : يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ، هَذَا خَيْرٌ ، وَلِلْجَنَّةِ أَبُوَابٌ ، فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصَّلاةِ ، دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الصَّلاةِ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجِهَادِ ، دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الْجِهَادِ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصَّدَقَةِ ، دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الصَّدَقَةِ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصِّيَامِ ، دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الرَّيَّانِ " ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا عَلَى أَحَدٍ يُدْعَى مِنْ تِلْكَ الأَبُوَابِ مِنْ ضَرُورَةٍ ، هَلْ يُدْعَى مِنْهَا كُلُّ أَحَدٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Whoever gives a pair of anything in the way of Allah, it will be announced from the gates of Paradise: O servant of Allah, this is goodness. Paradise has several gates. Those who are devoted to prayer will be called from the gate of prayer. Those who strive in jihad will be called from the gate of jihad. Those who give charity will be called from the gate of charity. Those who fast will be called from the gate of 'Rayyan.' The narrator states: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, submitted: O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him! There will be no harm to a person who is called from all these gates. O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him! Will anyone be called from all these gates? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Yes, and I hope you will be one of them."
