Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Charity is due upon every joint of a person on every day the sun rises (i.e., it is obligatory to do so daily). Reconciling between two people with justice, helping a man to mount his animal, or helping him load his belongings onto it, or lifting his goods for him, and removing something harmful from the road (all these actions) are acts of charity."
