Mus'ab bin Sa'd narrates: Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) came to visit Ibn 'Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was ill. He (Ibn 'Amir) said: O Ibn Umar! Will you not pray for me? So Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Allah does not accept prayer without ablution, nor does He accept charity given from unlawful wealth, and you have been the governor of Basra (from where you had income)."
