Hadith 3319

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحِيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَبِي الْحُبَابِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَصَدَّقَ بِعِدْلِ تَمْرَةٍ مِنْ كَسْبٍ طَيِّبٍ ، وَلا يَصْعَدُ إِلَى اللَّهِ إِلا الطَّيِّبُ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَتَقَبَّلُهَا بِيَمِينِهِ ، ثُمَّ يُرَبِّيهَا لِصَاحِبِهَا كَمَا يُرَبِّي أَحَدُكُمْ فَلُوَّهُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ مِثْلَ الْجَبَلِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives charity from pure earnings, even if it is equal to a single date, only pure things are presented before Allah Almighty. Allah takes it in His Hand of Power, turns it over, and then increases it for the giver, just as one of you raises and nurtures his young animal, until that (single date) becomes like a mountain."
