Hadith 3287

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحِيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَرَضَ فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالأَنْهَارُ وَالْعُيُونُ الْعُشْرَ ، وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالنَّضْحِ نِصْفَ الْعُشْرِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: For (land or produce) irrigated by rain, river, or spring, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) made the payment of one-tenth obligatory, and for that which is irrigated by bringing water on camels, he made the payment of half of one-tenth obligatory.
