Hadith 3282

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحِيَى الُوَاسِطِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ يَحِيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحِيَى الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ ذَوْدٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوْسُقٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَالُوَسْقُ سِتُّونَ صَاعًا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Zakat is not obligatory on less than five awqiyah (of silver). Zakat is not obligatory on less than five camels. Zakat is not obligatory on less than five wasq (of grain)." (The narrator says) One wasq is sixty (60) sa’."
