Hadith 3279

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ التَّمَّارِ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ أُسَيْدٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْكَرْمُ يُخْرَصُ كَمَا يُخْرَصُ النَّخْلُ ، ثُمَّ تُؤَدَّى زَكَاتُهُ زَبِيبًا كَمَا تُؤَدَّى زَكَاةُ النَّخْلِ تَمْرًا " .
Sayyiduna ‘Attab bin Asid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): “The estimation of the grapevine will be made just as the estimation of the date palm is made, and then its zakat will be paid in the form of grapes, just as the zakat of the date palm is paid in the form of dates.”
