Hadith 3275

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، وَسُفِيَانُ ، وَمَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحِيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَلا فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسُقٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَلا فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ ذَوْدٍ صَدَقَةٌ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Zakat is not obligatory on (silver) less than five awqiyah, nor is zakat obligatory on (grain) less than five wasq, nor is zakat obligatory on camels less than five."
