Hadith 326

أَخْبَرَنَا الصُّوفِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَلِيحٍ الْبَهْرَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ بَكْرَ بْنَ زُرْعَةَ الْخَوْلانِيَّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عِنَبَةَ الْخَوْلانِيَّ وَهُوَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مِمَّنْ صَلَّى لِلْقِبْلَتَيْنِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا وَأَكَلَ الدَّمَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لا يَزَالُ اللَّهُ يَغْرِسُ فِي هَذَا الدِّينِ بِغَرْسٍ يَسْتَعْمِلُهُمْ فِي طَاعَتِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Anabah Khawlani (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of the companions of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and who had prayed facing both Qiblahs, and who had consumed blood in the days of ignorance, narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Allah Almighty will continuously plant (new) plants in this religion, and He will continue to use those people for His obedience."
