أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : حَدِّثْنِي بِعَمَلٍ يُدْخِلُنِي الْجَنَّةَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اعْبُدِ اللَّهَ لا تُشْرِكْ بِهِ شَيْئًا ، وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلاةَ ، وَتُؤْتِي الزَّكَاةَ ، وَتَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ ذَرْهَا " ، يَعْنِي النَّاقَةَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: Tell me about a deed that will admit me into Paradise. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Worship Allah, do not associate anyone with Him, establish prayer, pay zakat, maintain ties of kinship, and now let her go. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) meant: let the she-camel go.
