Habbah bin Khalid and Suwa’ bin Khalid narrate: We presented ourselves before the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) while he was engaged in some construction. When he finished, he called us and said: Do not incline towards sustenance (rizq) in such a way that your heads begin to spin (or as long as your head spins, meaning as long as you are alive, do not remain completely preoccupied with sustenance), because when a person is born from his mother, he is red in color and does not even have skin over him, yet Allah Almighty grants him and provides him with sustenance.
