Hadith 3218

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، بِالْمَوْصِلِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ سَجَّادَةٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَعِسَ عَبْدُ الدِّينَارِ ، وَعَبْدُ الدِّرْهَمِ ، وَعَبْدُ الْقَطِيفَةِ ، وَعَبْدُ الْخَمِيصَةِ ، إِنْ أُعْطِيَ رَضِيَ ، وَإِنْ مُنِعَ سَخِطَ " .
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May the slave of the dinar, the slave of the dirham, the slave of the cloak, and the slave of the shirt be ruined; if he is given something, he is pleased, and if he is not given, he becomes displeased."
