Ibn Hibban

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “(In terms of coming into the world) we are the last, but on the Day of Resurrection we will be the first. (In terms of wealth and riches in the world) those who have abundance (in the Hereafter, in terms of reward and recompense) will be of lesser status, except for the person who says to his right, to his left, behind him, in front of him, like this and like this, and spreads his garment (i.e., spends his wealth in the way of Allah).”
