Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the (last) ten days of Ramadan would arrive, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would keep his wives awake as well, and he would perform voluntary prayers at night and gird himself with resolve. The narrator named Sufyan once used the wording "he would strive hard."
