أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، دَاخِلَ الْبَيْتِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ صَلَّى أَرْبَعًا ، فَقُمْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى ، قُلْتُ : أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : " هَاهُنَا " ، أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : سَمِعَ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ بِلالٍ ، وَأُسَامَةِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، لأَنَّهُمَا كَانَا مَعَ الْمُصْطَفَى صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ فَمَرَّةً أَدَّى الْخَبَرَ عَنْ بِلالٍ ، وَمَرَّةً أُخْرَى عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ فَالطَّرِيقَانِ جَمِيعًا مَحْفُوظَانِ .
Abu Sha’tha reports: I saw Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) enter the Ka’bah, and when he reached between the two pillars, he performed four rak’ahs. I stood by him, and when he finished the prayer, I asked: Where did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform the prayer? He replied: Here. Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both) informed me of this; he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing the prayer (here). (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:): Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) heard this narration from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both), because both of them were present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the Ka’bah. So, once he narrated this report on the authority of Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and another time he narrated it on the authority of Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both), so both chains are preserved.
