Hadith 3185

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَهْمٍ الأَنْطَاكِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ يَخَامِرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ جُرِحَ جُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَدْمَى ، اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ دَمٍ ، وَالرِّيحُ رِيحِ مِسْكٍ ، وَمَنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ طُبِعَ بِطَابَعِ الشُّهَدَاءِ " .
Sayyiduna Mu’adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever is wounded in the way of Allah, when he comes on the Day of Resurrection, his blood will be flowing, its color will be like the color of blood and its fragrance will be like the fragrance of musk, and whoever is wounded in the way of Allah, the seal of the martyrs will be placed upon him.”
