Hadith 3160

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ ابْنُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، صَاحَ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ هَذَا مِنَّا ، لَيْسَ لِصَارِخٍ حَظٌّ ، الْقَلْبُ يَحْزَنُ ، وَالْعَيْنُ تَدْمَعُ ، وَلا نَقُولُ مَا يُغْضِبُ الرَّبَّ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the son of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both) cried out loudly. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He is not from among us; the one who wails has no share (with us). The heart grieves, the eyes shed tears, and we do not say anything except that which does not anger our Lord.
