Hadith 3097

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ وَفَاتُهُ " ، وَكُنْتُ فِي الصَّفِّ الثَّانِي .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the funeral prayer for Najashi. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) received the news of his death, I was present in the second row at that time.
