أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بِسْطَامٍ بِالأُبُلَّةِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّفَرِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : مَرَّ بِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَنَا وَأُمِّي نُصْلِحُ خُصًّا لَنَا ، فَقَالَ : " مَا هَذَا يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ؟ " قَالَ : قُلْتُ : خُصٌّ لَنَا نُصْلِحُهُ ، فَقَالَ : " الأَمْرُ أَسْرَعُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) passed by me while I and my mother were building a shelter for ourselves. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked: O Abdullah! What is this? I replied: We are repairing our shelter. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The Day of Judgment will come even faster than this.
