Abdullah bin Yasar narrates: Amr bin Harith went to visit Sayyiduna Imam Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), so Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: O Amr! Have you come to meet Hasan while you have something else in your mind? So Sayyiduna Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: O Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), yes (I have come to meet Sayyiduna Hasan, may Allah be pleased with him), you are not the Lord that you can turn my heart as you wish. So Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I only wanted to give you one advice. I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whenever a Muslim goes to visit a sick Muslim, Allah Almighty sends seventy thousand angels who keep praying for mercy for that person, whether he goes at any hour of the day, and those angels continue to do so until the evening, and if he goes at any hour of the night, then they continue (praying for mercy) until the morning.
