Hadith 2942

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لا يَمُوتُ لأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Any Muslim whose three children die, the Fire will touch him only to fulfill an oath."
