It is narrated about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he used to narrate this hadith frequently: The last moments of one of the daughters of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) approached. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) took her and held her in his hands, then embraced her. At that time, she was in the throes of death, until she passed away. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was weeping at that time. When he put her down, Sayyida Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) cried out loudly. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Do not weep. She said: Do I not see the Messenger of Allah weeping? The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: My weeping is mercy. Every state of the believer is good; when his soul departs from both his sides, at that time he is praising Allah.
