Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led his companions in the prayer of fear. He performed bowing (ruku') with all of them. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went into prostration (sajdah), all those who were near him also went into prostration, while the others remained standing. Then, when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up, those people themselves performed two prostrations. Then the front row moved to the back. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went into bowing again, the row that was now near him also went into bowing. Those people raised their heads and performed two prostrations. Thus, all of them performed bowing with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and all of them themselves performed two prostrations. At that time, the enemy was present in the direction of the qiblah.
