أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِصَامِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مُرَّةَ بْنِ عَجْلانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ ، قَالَ : خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَنَحْنُ تِسْعَةٌ وَبَيْنَنَا وِسَادَةٌ مِنْ أَدَمٍ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ بَعْدَي أُمَرَاءُ ، فَمَنْ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ ، وَصَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ ، وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ ، فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ ، وَلا يَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ عَلَيْهِمْ ، وَلَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ ، وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ ، فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ ، وَسَيَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ " .
Sayyiduna Ka’b bin ‘Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us; at that time we were nine people and there was a pillow made of date-palm fibers among us. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Soon after me, there will come some rulers. Whoever goes to them, affirms their lies, and helps them in their oppression, he will have no connection with me and I will have no connection with him, and he will not be able to come to me at my Pond. And whoever does not go to them, does not affirm their lies, and does not help them in their oppression, he will have a connection with me and I will have a connection with him, and soon he will come to me at my Pond.”
