Hadith 2761

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الطَّائِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ " أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ بِهِمْ : إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ سورة الانشقاق آية 1 فَسَجَدَ فِيهَا ، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَخْبَرَهُمْ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَجَدَ فِيهَا " .
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he recited Surah Inshiqaq before the people, and in it, he performed the prostration of recitation. When he finished doing this, he informed the people: The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also performed the prostration of recitation in it.
