Hadith 2760

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ ، فَيَأْتِي عَلَى السَّجْدَةِ فَيَسْجُدُ ، وَنَسْجُدُ مَعَهُ لِسُجُودِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: Whenever the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would recite the Qur'an and reach a verse of prostration, he would perform the prostration of recitation, and we would also perform the prostration along with him.
