Hadith 2728

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لا يَحِلُّ لامْرَأَةٍ مَسْلَمَةٍ تُسَافِرُ مَسِيرَةَ لَيْلَةٍ إِلا وَمَعَهَا رَجُلٌ ذُو حُرْمَةٍ مِنْهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "It is not permissible for any Muslim woman to travel for one night except that a mahram man is with her."
