Hadith 2719

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تُسَافِرِ الْمَرْأَةُ سَفَرًا يَكُونُ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ فَصَاعِدًا إِلا مَعَ أَبِيهَا أَوِ ابْنِهَا أَوْ أَخِيهَا أَوْ زَوْجِهَا ، أَوْ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No woman should undertake a journey of three days or more except that she is accompanied by her father, or her son, or her brother, or her husband, or a close male relative (mahram)."
